President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi affirm a robust U.S.-India
Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership, rooted in a shared vision for the 21st
century marked by hope, ambition, and confidence. This enduring partnership is

Launch of INDUS-X: Elevating U.S.-India Defense Collaboration:
Leaders in the conference commend the establishment and launch of INDUS-X, a
collaborative network uniting universities, startups, industry, and think tanks. This
initiative is dedicated to advancing joint defense technology innovation and co-production
between the U.S. and Indian industries. The U.S. Department of Defense’s Space Force
signed its first International Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with
Indian start-ups 114 AI and 3rdiTech. Together with General Atomics, these companies
will co-develop cutting-edge components, leveraging AI and semiconductor technologies
to enhance defense capabilities.
Strategic Advancements: India’s Acquisition of MQ-9B HALE UAVs:
President Biden and Prime Minister Modi supported India’s strategic decision to acquire
General Atomics MQ-9B High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAVs). This significant procurement, with assembly taking place in India,
promises to elevate the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities
of India’s armed forces across diverse domains. In a testament to long-term collaboration,
General Atomics will also establish a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Global Maintenance,
Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in India. This move aligns seamlessly with India’s
enduring commitment to fortify indigenous defense capabilities, marking a pivotal step
towards enhanced self-reliance
